Description

This easy honey dijon vinaigrette recipe comes together in 5 minutes with 6 simple ingredients. It has the perfect blend of tangy and sweet flavors and is great on any salad, veggies or used as a marinade for chicken or pork.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/4 cup Apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup Olive oil
  • 2 tablepsoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 1-2 tablespoons honey
  • Salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Measure out ingredients.
  2. Add all of the vinaigrette ingredients to the mason jar fitted with a lid.
  3. Cover tightly and shake well to emulsify – about 15-20 seconds. Stir if any ingredients seem to be stuck on the bottom of the jar and then shake again.
  4. Use immediately on your favorite salads or cooked veggies or store for later use. See storing tips in the notes section.

Notes

  • Use a good quality olive oil.
  • Fresh lemon juice will have the best flavor.
  • Shake the dressing vigorously in a mason jar fitted tightly with a lid or add the ingredients to a bowl and whisk to fully combine.
  • Store leftover salad dressing in a mason jar or airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 10 days. When ready to use, shake it up and add a splash of lemon to brighten it up.
