Description
Air Fryer Mushrooms are a flavorful healthy side dish you can make in 15 minutes! They are so delicious and easy to make with only a few simple ingredients. This is the best way to cook roasted mushrooms perfectly every single time!
Ingredients
Scale
- 16 ounces baby Bella mushrooms – cleaned
- 2 tablespoons avocado oil or olive oil
- 1.5 tablespoon tamari or soy sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- Chopped parsley – optional for garnish
Instructions
- Clean the mushrooms lightly with a wet paper towel or you can rinse them with water then dry them. Slice the mushrooms in half. I left the smaller ones whole.
- Place the sliced mushroom into a medium bowl and drizzle then with the oil and tamari. Then season them with the garlic powder, onion powder and thyme. Toss to coat them in the seasoning.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees F and spray the basket with olive oil cooking spray. Place the mushrooms into the air fryer in an even layer. Cook them at 400 degrees F for 12-14 minutes, flipping them in the basket as they cook. I flipped them around 8 minutes.
- Once the mushrooms are done cooking, remove them from the air fryer and place them onto a plate. Top with fresh chopped parsley and enjoy!
Notes
- Make sure you cut the mushrooms so that they are all the same size for even cooking.
- Shake the mushrooms in the air fryer basket as they cook. I like to shake them at around 8 minutes then let them continue to cook for the remaining cook time.
- Serve immediately.
- You can store these cooked mushrooms after they have cooled, in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- Reheat in the microwave or right in the air fryer at 350 degrees F for a few minutes.
