Description
This viral chocolate strawberry bark is made with 4 simple ingredients and is the best healthy no-bake treat! Layers of sliced fresh strawberries, creamy peanut butter, and melted chocolate chilled and cut into a strawberry bark everyone will love!
Ingredients
Scale
- 12–15 medium strawberries thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 10 ounces dark chocolate chips
- 1 teaspoon coconut oil
Instructions
- Line a medium baking sheet with parchment paper and arrange the sliced strawberries into a rectangle shape. I placed them 5 across and 7-8 down.
- Pour and spread the peanut butter in a thin layer over the strawberries and place the bark in the freezer for 20-30 minutes until the peanut butter layer is set and not longer sticky.
- Add the chocolate chips and coconut oil to a microwave-safe dish and microwave it in 30-second intervals, stirring it in between until fully melted, about 1-2 minutes.
- Pour the melted chocolate over the bark and spread it out evenly into a thin layer. Work fast since the chocolate will start to set pretty quickly.
- Return the strawberry chocolate bark to the freezer to set, for about 20 minutes.
- Remove and cut into pieces.
- Serve and enjoy!
Notes
- Use fresh medium-size strawberries and cut them thinner rather than thicker.
- Make sure the strawberries are touching when you line them up on the pan.
- Pour the peanut butter and chocolate layers into thinner layers or it will take longer for them to set.
- Work quickly when spreading the chocolate layer since it will begin to harden quickly since the peanut butter and strawberry layers will be cold.
- Store leftovers in a freezer-safe container in the freezer for up to one week!
