Description

If you’re already head over heels for the luscious, creamy burger sauce or the legendary “special sauce” that graces most burgers at your favorite dining spots, get ready to love this phenomenal homemade burger sauce. It’s a flavor-packed masterpiece that will elevate your burger game.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup avocado mayo – or any type of mayo
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon pickle juice or apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder or paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper – to taste

Instructions

  1. Add all of the sauce ingredients to a medium bowl and whisk well to combine into a creamy, smooth sauce.
  2. Use on burgers, sandwiches, or wraps or as a dipping sauce for fries and chicken.

Notes

  • You can use any type of mayo you like. I used avocado mayo.
  • To keep the sugar lower, use Primal Kitchen brand ketchup.
  • Add in some hot sauce or pickle relish for even more flavor.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. I love to store this sauce in a mason jar
