Description
These quick and easy air fryer pita chips come together in minutes with just 3 main ingredients. These pita chips are great served with hummus or any dip you like!

- 4-6 6-inch pita breads
- 1-2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper – optional
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder – optional
Instructions
- Cut the pit bread by placing a pita on a cutting board and use a pizza cutter or kitchen knife to cut the pita into 6-8 even size triangles. Continue until you have cut all of the pita chips.
- Add the cut pita chips to a medium size bowl, drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with the seasoning. Toss to fully coat.
- Preheat the air fryer to 330°F, then spray the air fryer basket with olive oil spray. Add the seasoned pita chips to the air fryer basket and spread them out. Close and cook for 4 minutes, toss the chips in the basket then cook for 4 more minutes until golden and crispy.
- Serve the chips warm or at room temperature with your favorite hummus or dip.
Notes
- You can use any pita bread you like in this recipe.
- Season the pita chips well for optimal flavor.
- Cook the pita chips until they reach your desired crispiness. Note: air fryer times and temperature vary so check the pita chips at the 3-4 minute mark and continue cooking as needed.
- Cut the pita chips in even sizes for more even cooking.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days.
