Description
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 whole pineapple, peeled, cored, and cut into 1-inch chunks – about 4 cups.
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Prepare the pineapple. Peel and cut the pineapple into even size chunks that are about 1 inch then place the cut pineapple into a medium size bowl.
- Add flavoring. Add the maple syrup and cinnamon to the pineapple and toss to coat it really well.
- Cook. Preheat the air fryer to 385 degrees F and spray the air fryer basket with non-aerosol cooking spray to prevent the pineapple from sticking. Place the coated pineapple in a single layer with no overlapping into the air fryer basket. Give it a good shake to even it out. Cook it for 12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through the cooking time.
- Serve. Once the pineapple is done cooking, remove it from the air fryer and let it cool for 5 minutes before serving it warm with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, or Greek yogurt.
