Description

These Air Fryer Carrots are seasoned with savory spices and air fried until perfectly tender and golden in under 15 minutes. Use any seasoning you like for the best cooked carrots every time!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound whole raw carrots
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 380° F.
  2. Peel and cut the carrots into 1-2 inch pieces. I cut them slightly larger since we like them firmer and tender.
  3. Place the carrots into a medium-sized mixing bowl and drizzle them with the olive oil. Mix up the thyme, salt, and pepper in a small bowl and sprinkle that seasoning all over the carrots. Toss to coat them well in the seasoning.
  4. Place the seasoned carrots into the air fryer in an even layer (some overlapping is okay) and cook them for about 10-12 minutes until tender and crispy around the edges.
  5. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

  • Cut the carrots into the same size shapes for even cooking.
  • These carrots can be stored in an airtight container and kept in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
  • Reheat them in the air fryer at 350° F until warmed through or in the microwave.
